Lose Weight, Not Muscle

Many women are not adding weights to their workout routine for fear of getting the ‘bulky’ look that resembles a really buff green man a.k.a the hulk. Seriously, do you know how long that would take for a woman to accomplish? Women’s bodies are not built the same way as men. Women don’t have the same genetics or testosterone as men have to even come close to seeing ‘hulk’ like results. The women who do have ‘bulky’ muscles have to actually try really hard to get that look.

The natural result of the aging process produces loss of muscle mass, especially in women. This is concerning for aging women since they are likely to develop osteopenia or worse yet, osteoporosis which can prevent women from doing basic daily activities as they age. However, women who train with weights strengthen not only their muscles but bones as well, can prevent damaging effects on their bodies. You could be one of those women who has discovered that for some reason, due to age, your hip and stomach area has ‘enlarged.’ Or maybe it’s more than the hip and stomach area! When you combine aging with being inactive, it results in loss of muscle mass as fat cells increase from being inactive, in addition too not eating a proper diet. Women who participate in Chandler Boot Camp are not only getting healthy, but they are getting rid of fat by speeding up their metabolism by lifting weights, in addition to improving their confidence level and self-esteem, as well as looking and feeling better about themselves.

It’s a win-win situation.

Physical exercise is important to anyone, especially when using some weights, no matter what age you are. It helps women increase muscle size and strength. Lean body mass is also known as the muscle mass created by lifting weights. As you can see, it’s important for every women to add in some type of weight lifting into their workout program, just like you would find at one of Chandler boot camps. When you exercise by just walking or running, you may burn more calories, but just know that those types of activities won’t increase your muscle mass like weight training would do for you, just like women who are obtaining healthy lifestyles in Chandler bootcamp.

Your metabolism also diminishes with loss of muscle mass. If it continues this way for over a long period of time, then your body becomes over weight and out of shape. Doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun.

What have you learned?

It’s never too late to start gaining strength by lifting some weights, at any age! Don’t let yourself fall into the trap of thinking that lifting weights is only for men who want to look like the incredible hulk. Every woman should incorporate weights into their daily fitness routine for health reasons alone.

Chandler Boot Camp Offers Extreme Fat Loss!

Are you undergoing a metabolic slow down? A metabolism that’s slow is a definite sign of nada fat loss. Your body is waiting for you to do something. There are a few ways you can boost your metabolism, including attending our Chandler Boot Camp program and we will cover a few of the most important ones.
A main point you need to get is that you have the skill to rev up your metabolism, and get it going!
You’re not going to get fit and fabulous with a super slow metabolism, it plain isn’t possible. There are two main things you can do to put some fire underneath that metabolism of yours.

1) Eat

You read it right…Eat! A sluggish metabolism will increase the more frequently and often you eat.
Now you can’t expect to dine on french fries, hot dogs, and soda all day and expect to lose weight. But with a proper diet rich in foods with protein, you will without a doubt see a spark in your metabolism. Simply by spreading out those proper meals to 5-7 all through the day, your body will automatically fire up your internal furnace, known as your metabolism.

You see…similar to how fire burns wood, it’s easier for your body to burn meals that are smaller. By consuming a large high calorie meal, is like putting a big oak tree on a small fire. The conclusion: the fire will be smothered out.

However, by eating frequent smaller meals throughout the day, would be the same as putting kindling on a fire…you are producing a fuel for instant heat.
Lets compare the log (big meals) to the fire (metabolism.) The big log only extinguishes the fire, where as the smaller kindling helps to ignite the fire. We are looking for maximum heat. Turning up your body’s “heat” is easy to do with small frequent meals.

2) Exercise.

You can blast calories away by exercise! It’s not a huge surprise, but that’s the basic concept. The best way to burn calories is by participating in Arizona’a Chandler Boot Camp.
“More calories out vs. calories in.” That’s the basic underlying principle, but there are many other factors that come into play. Lets keep this really easy.

Challenging interval style types of exercises can keep anyone burning calories all throughout the day. You see, muscle is an active tissue. This means that it requires calories to maintian it’s life. Roughly 40-50 calories per pound of muscle is an estimate on how many calories your body requires per day to sustain it. That might not sound like much, but what if you added 5-10 lbs of lean muscle to your body? You could have the possibility to burn an extra 250-550- calories per day. That is a lot of extra calories! Especially when that happens naturally from having higher muscle mass levels and no additional activity is required….bonus!

The best way to build calorie burning muscle is with resistance exercise…a.k.a. weight training. If you haven’t, then you should make it a point to combine resistance training to your fitness program. Resistance based exercise programs are superior to cardio based activities for supporting your metabolism.

Your resting metabolic rate increases when you use heavy to moderate weights in your workout routine. It is estimated that your resting metabolic rate (RMR) is responsible for roughly 60-70% of your daily energy expenditure. Anything you can do to raise your RMR will have the greatest net effect on your fat loss efforts. From an exercise view, nothing compares to resistance training as far as impact.

Cardiovascular exercise will also help elevate a slow metabolism. Your body will automatically burn even more calories even hours after you already finished your workout. The more intense (effort) your workout is, the longer your metabolism will continue burning calories at an accelerated rate.
You’ll see what happens to your slow metabolic rate when you start to hit your resistance and cardio training with some intense effort. The positive changes you’ll see in a few short weeks of combining resistance exercise with a proper nutrition plan will help spur you on to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Incorporate some cardiovascular intervals, like Chandler Boot Camp training, to the mix when you are ready and the skies the limit.
You’ll want to eat a diet with healthy foods and sufficient amounts of protein all through out the day. Frequency of eating will bring a slow metabolism back from the dead.

Have You had an “aha” Moment Yet?

It’s not terribly hard to see that a person needs to be in the right frame of mind to achieve specific goals especially when trying to transform their bodies from overweight to looking great. Many women are really good at thinking un-fit thoughts, excuses pile up, and the excuses become reasons in various shapes and sizes for why they shouldn’t take the time to work out. But did you know that positive thoughts are just as easy to think?

Train your brain to think fit thoughts! When you are exercising, focus on what you are doing, or what exercise you are performing. Remind yourself over and over if you have to that exercising is for your health, body, and mind. This will help you bust out of any fitness rut and make healthier food choices through out the day. For example, taking the stairs instead of the elevator is a fit thought that you can incorporate into your daily routine.

What is your ‘aha’ moment in regards to your fitness program, or nutrition? Have you had a moment where you’ve thought, ‘I get!’ and made some changes to your unhealthy habits? If you have, then that’s great. Leave me a comment to help inspire someone else. It all starts mentally, and changing your attitude to positive thoughts. If you haven’t, then click here to see what has helped other people with their ‘aha’ moments.

Remember that physical activity can be fun. When it’s fun, and you enjoy it, you are ten times more likely to get out there and do it. Make sure you check out the video about all the fun ways women in Chandler Boot Camps are getting into shape at http://www.bodyenvybootcamp.com
